Summary

France is beginning to realize that it has fallen behind several developed countries in space air conditioning of residential and office buildings, workshops or shops. Even in new residential buildings, air conditioning has made few inroads; more progress has been made in office, supermarket and workshop air conditioning. This trend is favoured by a technology which better adapts to needs.
