A SYSTEM OF TRIANGULAR GIRDERS WAS SELECTED FOR THE STRUCTURES SUPPORTING THIS 58 X 78 M SKATING HALL. THE TRUSSES, AT 6 M INTERVALS, ARE MADE OF IRON 430C HOLLOW SECTIONS. THE GALVANISED STEEL SHEETS OF THE ROOF WERE PERFORATED IN ORDER TO IMPROVE ACOUSTICS.
