Type of article: Article
Summary
Develops an analytical model to simulate the heat and mass transfer performance of a vapour compression/liquid desiccant hybrid cooling and dehumidification absorber, referred to as an RCLDA system. Uses the model to identify pertinent performance parameters and to conduct a thorough parametric analysis to help understand and optimise the performance of the RCDLA system. Also uses the model to develop heat and mass transfer performance maps for part-load performance estimation of an RCLDA system.
