Summary
Nanotechnologies in refrigeration technique find use in domestic refrigerators (materials for disinfection, odor removal, and dirt-repellent nanofilms) and for the development of the materials for thermoelectric refrigerating machines. In the latter case the initial crystalline semiconductor is ground into powder from nanoparticles and then cakes into 3D nanostructure. Theoretically a 3-3,5 fold increase of thermoelectric efficiency of 3D nanostructures is possible as compared to non-structured material. So far, in the experiments, a 10-12% growth of Q-factor in nanostructures has been achieved.
