Summary
Notes that tighter construction of housing can result in inadequate ventilation and possible structural damage and health problems. Notes that the research programme of the Danish Ministry of Energy is supporting a number of projects which can contribute to improved ventilation while conserving energy. Among the projects are the optimum dimensioning of valves and air outlets in naturally ventilated housing as well as the development of new components and improving the operation of existing installations. Discusses five completed projects with the common factor of natural ventilation.
