IN CONFORMITY WITH PREVIOUS ESTIMATIONS THERE WILL HAVE TO BE PRACTICAL ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE AROUND THE TURN OF THE CENTURY WHICH ARE SUITABLE FOR IMMEDIATE INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION. THE NEED FOR LOW TEMPERATURE IN NUCLEAR FUSION IS EXPLAINED AND THE MAGNITUDE OF THE REFRIGERATING CAPACITY AS WELL AS ITS TECHNOLOGICAL FEASIBILITY IS EVALUATED. BASED ON MAGNIFICATION, REQUISITE DEVELOPMENTS FOR MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THE REFRIGERATING PLANT ARE OUTLINED.
