Summary
In order to study the working process of the twin screw vacuum pump, the thermodynamic model was established to describe the working process of the twin screw vacuum pump. The influence of leakage on the thermodynamic performance was also considered and the mathematical model of numerical simulation of the twin screw vacuum pump was established. In order to validate the mathematical model, the p-V indicator diagrams of the working process of the twin screw vacuum pump was obtained. The results showed that the simulated results of the mathematical model were in good agreement with the experimental results, which could properly describe the working process of the twin screw vacuum pump and provided theoretical and experimental basis for the design and optimization of the twin screw vacuum pump.
