Summary

THE MODEL OF A PACKAGED AIR CONDITIONER FOR LARGE SCALE SIMULATION RESEARCH IS PRESENTED. COMPARED TO PREVIOUS MODELS, THERE ARE CONSIDERABLE IMPROVEMENTS. RAPID AND ACCURATE PREDICTIONS OF THE THERMAL PROPERTIES AND ECONOMIC-TECHNICAL CRITERIA OF THE AIR CONDITIONER ARE POSSIBLE. USING THIS MODEL THE RELATIVE SIZE OF THE VARIOUS PARTS OF AN AIR CONDITIONER ARE SIMULATED AND ANALYSED. THE METHOD IS TO COMPREHENSIVELY CONSIDER THE EFFECT OF THE COST OF THE AIR CONDITIONER, WEATHER CONDITIONS, SEASONAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY RATIO AND OTHER FACTORS. A CALCULATION EXAMPLE IS GIVEN.
