Summary

THE AUTHORS POINT OUT THAT SIMILARITIES MAY BE FOUND WHICH CAN REDUCE THE NUMBER OF INDEPENDENT VARIABLES IN A PROBLEM GOVERNED BY PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS. THEY SUGGEST A SEARCH METHOD USING DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS WHICH MAY BE EXTENDED BY THE PHYSICAL SIMILITUDE OF THE GOVERNING EQUATIONS, THEN DISCUSS AND JUSTIFY THE RESULTS. D.W.H.
