Summary

Composite absorbents for absorption refrigeration were produced by using a mixed method. Equilibrium adsorption capacities of self-prepared composite adsorbents for water or alcohol were determined using a static and a vacuum gravimetric method. The desorption peak temperature of DTA curve of the composite adsorbents for water or alcohol were analysed by thermobalance. Equilibrium absorption capacities and peak temperature were selected as check targets, mixing proportion of the composite adsorbents were optimized through orthogonal design experiment. Composite phenomena and the adsorption mechanism of composite adsorbents were analysed using the TG-DTA-DTG method with pyridine as molecular probe. Preliminary research on the adsorption mechanism shows that: desorption temperature is obviously lowered with an increase in the numbers of weak adsorption centres.
