Summary

A possibility of development of an unified family of compressors with various refrigerating capacities and pressure ratios on the basis of one baseline full-size axial compressor having a maximum number of stages is shown. This makes it possible to implement a refrigerating cycle with one compressor and much simpler vapor supply to intermediate stages than with the use of centrifugal compressors.
