TO MAINTAIN COMFORT UNDER COOLING CONDITIONS, THE THERMAL ENVI RONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM MUST REMOVE HEAT FROM THE OCCUPANT AT THE SAME RATE THAT THE OCCUPANT PRODUCES IT THROUGH METABO THIS PAPER PRESENTS A MODEL FOR DETERMINING ACCEPTABLE DRY BULB AND RADIANT COOLING SURFACE TEMPERATURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THERMAL COMFORT.
