Summary

This standard is part of a series of twelve standards (see also this Bulletin, references 2001-0610 to 2001-0620). Each standard defines at different levels requirements for refrigerated display cabinets for the sale or display, or both, of food products (it does not cover refrigerated vending machines, cabinets intended for use in catering and similar non-retail applications, or food service cabinets). This part specifies the procedure to determine the extent of condensation of water on the internal and external surfaces of refrigerated display cabinets, when tested under specified ambient conditions.
