A DETAILED STUDY OF THE REGULATIONS AND COMFORT CONDITIONS IN SWIMMING POOLS FOR THE DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND ACCORDING TO ACTIVITY AREAS WAS MADE FROM VARIOUS PARAMETERS INVOLVED: WATER AND AIR TEMPERATURE, AVERAGE RADIANT TEMPERATURE OF WALLS, RELATIVE HUMIDITY, ETC. THE SWIMMING POOL AT SAVIGNY-LE-TEMPLE WAS BUILT AFTER THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY WITH STRONG INSULATION AND PROTECTION OF THE MAIN GLAZING BY A GLASSHOUSE. ITS ENERGY BALANCE IS COMPARED TO THAT OF AN EQUIVALENT CONVENTIONAL SWIMMING POOL. J.L.
