Summary

The advantages and disadvantages of a cool storage air-conditioning system, such as water storage or ice storage, were analysed. The principle of cool storage air conditioning with high-temperature water was introduced. The thermal transfer model of a water storage tank was established, and the dynamic characteristics of dimensionless temperature distribution, subcooling degree, and total cool storage degree were simulated. The influences of subcooling water flow rates, designed working time and the height of vessel on dynamic characteristics were also discussed.
