Summary
THE RESULTS OF COMPARATIVE TESTS ON THE CORROSION OF VARIOUS PROTECTIVE COATINGS OF THEALUMINIUM FINS OF HEAT EXCHANGERS FOR AIR COOLING ARE REVIEWED. SAMPLES WITH OXIDIZED, ANODIZED AND LACKERED COATINGS WERE TESTED. THE TESTS SHOWED THAT LACKERED ALUMINIUM STRIP FINS ARE AS SATISFACTORY AS ANODIZED FINS FOR THE RESISTANCE TO CORROSION AND CAN BE USED FOR SPECIAL PURPOSE PRODUCTS.
