RESULTS ON HEAT-RECOVERY PROJECTS IN DWELLINGS.

Summary

THE ENERGY SAVING, OBTAINED BY HEAT RECOVERY FROM THE VENTILATION AIR, IS ABOUT 295 M3 NATURAL GAS/A YEAR FOR A < NORMAL > DUTCH DWELLING. THE SEVERAL PROJECTS SHOW A GREAT DIFFERENCE AS A RESULT OF A DEVIATED VENTILATION BEHAVIOUR AND DIFFERENCES OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USED HEAT EXCHANGER. THE REGISTERED ELECTRIC USE OFTHE UNIT SHOWS THAT THE EFFICIENCY OF THE FANS HAS TO BE AN IMPORTANT SELECTION CRITERION FOR THE VENTILATION UNIT.
