Rule development and adjustment strategies of a fuzzy logic controller for an HVAC system. 2. Experiment.

Author(s) : HUANG S., NELSON R. M.

Summary

The paper describes an experiment using a rule-based fuzzy logic controller (FLC) to control an HVAC system. The rule development and adjustment strategies for the FLC are presented and the multilevel-relay feature is analyzed. The experimental results indicate that the FLC performs better than a conventional proportional-integral-derivative controller.
