Summary

This standard is one of a series of standards concerning the safety of machinery (see this issue of the Bulletin, ref. 2000 - 0551, 2000 - 0552, 2000 - 0553, 2000 - 0554, 2000 - 0555, 2000 - 0556). Its aim is to define parametres which could be used in order to evaluate pollutant emissions by machinery and to provide suitable test method selection criteria that take into account the types of machinery and means of controlling the resulting pollution.
