THE AIR CONDITIONING OF OPERATING THEATRES IS INTENDED FOR THE COMFORT OFTHE SURGICAL STAFF AND SHOULD PROVIDE AIR TREATMENT FOR ASEPSIS. STANDARD VENTILATION IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR CONTROLLING POLLUTION BY ANAESTHETICS. CONSEQUENTLY, IT IS NECESSARY TO TAKE ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS.
