THE REALISTIC MODELLING OF AN AIR-CONDITIONED BUILDING ZONE REQUIRES THE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT OF TERMINAL UNITS AND CONTROL CHARACTERISTICS. THIS ZONE MODEL HAS TO BE CONNECTED THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK TO THE MODELS OF CONTROL AIR HANDLING UNITS AND TO THE HEATING AND COOLING GENERATORS. INFORMATION FLOW DIAGRAMS ARE VERY HELPFUL IN THE PROCESS OF INTERCONNECTING THESE VARIOUS HVAC COMPONENTS MODELS AND OF IDENTIFYING THE BEST SIMULATION METHODS.
