Summary

The ROM model is described in detail, with section algorithms comprehensibly derived and single modules contained on a CD-ROM as finished programs. For verification of the model, standard measurements of a closed high performance chilled ceiling were taken as reference. Simulation with the space model supplied interesting evidence of chilled ceiling performance as a function of the boundary conditions. With the usual chilled panel arrangement and normal boundary conditions, deviations are however smaller in relation to the standard performance than differences occuring due to manufacture and assembly inaccuracies. It is recommended to use the results of standard measurements further as a planning basis.
