Summary

This paper introduces the mechanism and the effect factor of the on-off type and the frequency conversion type capacity regulating for room air conditioners, also analyzes and compares the system structure characteristics of two types of capacity regulating methods and the influence on the performance of room air conditioners. A room air conditioner technology developmental trend in China has been assessed.
