Summary

A SET-UP WAS CONSTRUCTED WITH A HELIUM CRYOSTAT AND THE PROCESSES OF INSULATION VACUUM FAILURE TO HELIUM IN THE CRYO-STAT WERE STUDIED. THE TYPES OF INSULATION, THE PRESSURE OF OPENING OF A SAFETY VALVE, HOLES ON A HELIUM INJECTION DEVICE INTO THE INSULATION SPACE AND OTHER PARAMETERS WERE CHANGED. MAXIMUM SPECIFIC HEAT INFLUXES TO THE LIQUID HELIUM WERE DETERMINED FOR CASES TYPICAL FOR THE OPERATION WITH HELIUM CRYOSTATS.
