Summary
This paper analyses the deficiency of the present definition of rotary wheels, and puts forward a new rotary efficiency definition. It establishes a one-dimensional transient LiCl rotary numerical model, calculates the desiccant rotary wheel efficiency under different temperature and humidity ratio of regeneration air and treating air. The results are in good agreement with the experimental results. When the rotary wheel efficiency in 0.85, the errors are within a deviation of plus or minus 20%, and mostly they are within a deviation of plus or minus 10%.
