Summary
Within the research project "EnEff: Wärmefeldtest Absorptionskältetechnik für Kraft-Wärme-Kälte-Kopplungssysteme", ten newly developped absorption chillers have started operation at six different sites across Germany. The concepts and the site-specific integration as well as process control strategies of two installations are introduced in detail. For both systems comprehensive data exists, which is analyzed with regard to availability of the chillers, efficiency of the system and the achievement of controlling objectives.
