The comeback of natural ventilation.
La ventilation naturelle réhabilitée.
Author(s) : JARDINIER P., SIMONNOT J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Having retrofitted the building envelope, usual air conditioning requirements are comparable to those for new accomodation. Mechanical ventilation may satisfy these requirements, but its "transplantation" to an existing building is not always easy to match. There remains natural ventilation: its operating pressure is variable, but it can be controlled by an automatically controlled shutter according to need.
