The effect of ambient temperature on the surface area of components of an air-cooled lithium bromide-water absorption unit.
Author(s) : MOSTAFAVI M., AGNEW B.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The ambient temperature does not affect the condenser and absorber surface area, thus from the point of view of economy it is better to design these heat exchangers for low ambient temperatures so that only the surface area of the generator, the evaporator and the solution heat exchanger need to be modified as the ambient temperature changes.
