Summary
The new generation of semihermetic piston compressors features several advantages such as multi-refrigerant design (except for CO2), two methods of capacity control, additional sound attenuation by means of sound shell and diagnostics. Diagnostics ensure that the compressors operate safely, and that the operating parameters can be monitored and undesired operating states can be identified and avoided.
