The reduction of the noise/vibration generated by the discharge valve system in hermetic compressor for a refrigerator.

Author(s) : LEE H., PARK J. S., HUR K. B.

Summary

The study focuses on how to reduce the noise generated by the discharge valve system. In order to achieve this, the three noise transmission paths related to the discharge valve system were derived, and their characteristics were analyzed. The design implemented for reduction of noise due to the discharge valve system is described and applied to a real hermetic compressor for a refrigerator.
