Summary
Thermoacoustic refrigeration systems have no moving parts. This causes all the problems associated with lubrication of the compressor in the traditional systems are not present. This also implies thet the devices of this type have a potentially high energy conversion efficiency on the cooling capacity of the drive. The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental research, whose aim was to determine the role and structure of the stack of the thermoacoustic device.Both theoretical and experimental results confirm that there is an optimal construction of the stack position inside the resonator.
