Number: pap. n. 63

Author(s) : SHARAPOV S., PROTSENKO M., ARSENYEV V.

Summary

The article explains the advantages of using liquid-vapor ejectors, working on the principle of steam thermocompression, for vacuum systems as an alternative to steam-jet ejectors. Considered the working process of these devices in the context of vacuum modes. Provided the mathematical model for calculating the liquid-vapor ejector of vacuum units. The main results of theoretical and experimental researches of its workflow are presented. Thermodynamic analysis of exergetic efficiency defined range of the liquid-vapor ejector and the vacuum unit at its base is used, with the highest efficiency. The efficiency of vacuum production in these units is assessed for various secondary fluids, such as in saturated, superheated steam and steam-air mixtures.
