Summary

A detailed technical description of different applications of refrigerating circuits using secondary fluids as cold carriers is presented. Special attention is given to mono-phase and two-phase secondary fluids, high and medium temperature applications, specific and low temperature applications, and hydraulic circuits. The benefits and drawbacks of the system are exposed.
