Summary
A relatively common international developmental trend is increasing the reliability of plants and simplifying their control. Predominantly in regions with a strong need for air conditioning, the demand for highly efficient gas-driven systems is large. On the contrary, in Europe and especially in Germany, there is a trend towards trigeneration (combined heat, cold and power) with low-temperature-heat driven systems. Up to now, this trend has been less marked in the US and Japan.
