Summary
This article is the second part of reference 2003-0145 of the Bulletin of the IIR. Successful refrigeration systems depend on good piping design and knowledge of the required accessories. In Part 2 of this article, the roles of liquid lines, suction lines, double risers, discharge lines, defrost gas supply lines, location and arrangement of piping, and piping insulation all play roles in sound refrigeration piping design.
