THE AUTHORS HAVE TREATED 64 PATIENTS WITH SMALL, BENIGN BUT RECURRENT VESICULAR TUMOURS BY ENDOSCOPIC CRYOTHERAPY ; 38 SUCCESSES AND 26 FAILURES (RECURRENCE IN THE SAME SITE WITHIN 6 MONTHS) WERE NOTED. THESE ALWAYS CORRESPOND TO SUPERFICIAL LESIONS WHICH RESPOND SATISFACTORILY TO ITERATIVE TREATMENTS. CRYOTHERAPY SEEMS AN APPROPRIATE THERAPEUTIC TECHNIQUE FOR TREATING SMALL SUPERFICIAL RECURRENCES (LESS THAN 1 CM3 ) OF BLADDER TUMOURS.
