Using infrared thermography for the study of heat transfer through building envelope components.

Summary

With regard to thermal insulation, the building envelope is commonly characterized by only one number. Nevertheless, the changes depending on the composition of the building envelope do not appear. Thermography is able to analyze the coefficients of the different materials and improve thermal insulation where the need is the most important.
