THE BEHAVIOUR OF A LONG JOSEPHSON JUNCTION WITH EDGE CURRENT INJECTION IN THE PRESENCE OF AN APPLIED EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD IS INVESTIGATED BOTH EXPERIMENTALLY AND THEORETICALLY. EXPERIMENTALLY OBTAINED I-V CHARACTERISTICS AND THE REGIONS OF STATIONARY STATES ARE IN QUALITATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE RESULTS OF NUMERICAL CALCULATIONS.
