The following points are to be considered in calculating air flows realistically: changes in indoor-outdoor air flows, calculation of flows through large indoor-outdoor passages, procedure with small passages, digital simulation of boundary conditions, problems in modelling unstable temperature layers (e.g., near cooling ceilings and heated floors). The paper explains why more research is required to determine flows for these applications.
