The 2025 IIR World Refrigeration Day event brings together key decision-makers from governments, industry, academia and partner international organisations to foster dialogue and collaboration about the importance of the refrigeration sector in society. This event will be celebrated exactly one year after the new IIR strategy 2024-2028 was endorsed and it responds to our mission to foster collaboration and exchange knowledge.
The event will provide an opportunity to celebrate World Refrigeration Day and a platform for discussions about the refrigeration sector’'s vital role, from ensuring access to safe food and temperature-sensitive health products through refrigeration and cold chains, to supporting the decarbonisation of the heating sector through heat pump technologies and advancing energy security.
As part of this event, we are offering a 50%-off sale from June 18 to June 26, 2025 on:
- All IJR papers: 10 euros for non IIR members instead of 20 euros. Still free for IIR members
- All IIR individual conference papers: 10 euros for non IIR members instead of 20 euros. Still free for IIR members
- A selection of IIR guides on cold chain and energy efficiency (see table below)
