5th FRISBEE workshop
The 5th FRISBEE workshop held on August 28-30, 2012 in Trondheim, Norway, provided an opportunity for the partners of this 4-year project funded by the European Union to present the latest results and to plan work for the following 6 months.
The 5th FRISBEE workshop held on August 28-30, 2012 in Trondheim, Norway, provided an opportunity for the partners of this 4-year project funded by the European Union to present the latest results and to plan work for the following 6 months.
The technical data obtained thanks to the first European food cold chain database were stressed.
Research results in the following fields were presented: phase-change materials, magnetic refrigeration, supercooling, nanotechnologies, vacuum insulation panels, advanced packaging.
The next FRISBEE meeting will be held in Rome, Italy, in mid-February 2013.
The IIR is involved in the dissemination of outcomes within this project and will organize a FRISBEE workshop on April 2, 2013, during the 2nd IIR International Conference on Sustainability and the Cold Chain to be held in Paris, France, on April 2-4, 2013.
