Call for abstracts has been launched for the next International Institute of Refrigeration Rankine Conference.

Submit your abstracts online today for the next Rankine Conference on Advances in Cooling, Heating and Power Generation. Deadline ends 13th September 2019.

Hosted by the Institute of Refrigeration (UK), this conference will take place at the University of Glasgow, Scotland from the 26th to 29th July 2020 and will include a celebration of the life and legacy of William Rankine. This is the first conference to bring together the disciplines of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) and Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps (RACHP).

The event will welcome an international audience of researchers and industrialists. It will address critical issues for the future and will encourage the flow of ideas between the two closely related fields. The conference will provide a forum to discuss the shared environmental challenges being faced, the solutions being proposed and the difficulties in choosing the most efficient working fluids. The event is expected to attract 300 delegates and 120 technical papers covering three themes: cooling and heating, power generation and working fluids. All IIR members, authors and students will also benefit from discounted registration fees.
