From August 24-30, 2019, birthplace to the Montreal Protocol signed in 1987, Montreal (Canada),will host the 25th IIR International Congress of Refrigeration – ICR 2019.

The congress will be held under the theme “Refrigeration for Human Health and Future Prosperity", and will focus on the current issues we are all facing: energy saving and energy efficiency, food supply, health, reduction of global warming and the protection of the ozone layer.


Taking place in a different country and continent each time, and gathering over thousand individuals, the IIR International Congress of Refrigeration (ICR) is a unique opportunity for researchers and engineers from all over the world, and from all refrigeration sectors and technologies to meet, exchange and publish the results of their research.


ICR 2019 will offer dynamic programme of quality technical, scientific and industry insights inducing technical tours visits, networking opportunities, focused work meetings and unforgettable experiences.
