Call for papers: 2014 International Sorption Heat Pump Conference

ISHPC 2014 extends abstract deadline until September 13, 2013

In Maryland, USA from March 31 – April 3, 2014, The Center for Environmental Energy Engineering (CEEE) will host the 2014 International Sorption Heat Pump Conference, a renowned international event providing researchers and industrialists with a forum to present and discuss information on the latest progress in R&D of absorption heat pump technology.

Specifically, the following topics will be presented:

  • Absorption, Adsorption, and Desiccant Cooling
  • Co- and Tri-generation, as well as Solar Cooling
  • Complex and Advanced Thermodynamic Cycles
  • Heat and Mass Transfer
  • Modeling and Analysis
  • Heat Pumps and Heat Recovery, Chillers and Refrigerators
  • Abstracts should be submitted by September 13, 2013 on the conference website.

Upload your abstracts online .

For more details about the conference visit their website or download the brochure (pdf).

ISHPC events are held once every three years, bringing together the most important industrial and academic sorption technology stakeholders from all parts of the world. The most recent ISHPC in Italy in 2011 was attended by 150 participants from 25 countries.

This conference series started with an absorption working fluid workshop in the early 1980s and has continued since then with conferences held every two to three years worldwide.
