Epta introduces new ‘Alba’ refrigeration units featuring optimized airflow and R290 technology
The development of a new technical configuration within refrigeration display units has led to improved energy efficiency through optimised air flow.
Epta (IIR Member) has announced a new range of refrigeration display cases that incorporate the condensing unit in the lower part of the cabinet without interfering with performance. This new layout works both for ventilated refrigeration with an electronic regulator, as well as in the static version using a mechanical setting. This technical configuration also allows for improved energy efficiency through an optimisation of the air flow within the display unit.

In its natural refrigeration solutions, Epta uses R290 refrigerant to provide Iarp-branded Alba units with a Class C energy efficiency classification.
This new range introduces an innovative technical system within refrigeration display units, increasing the Total Display Area (TDA) by up to 40% requiring no additional the floor space compared to previous models, while maintaining refrigeration performance.
