China is predicted to represent the first market in terms of value in 2014: 25,827 million € (+ 3% during the 2014-2015 period) followed by the USA (10,302; +9%), Japan (8,255; +1%), Brazil (2,172; +16%), South Korea (1,678; +1%), India (1,657; +14%), Italy (1,016; +1%), Saudi Arabia (0.992; +13%), Australia (0.974; +2%0) and Russia (0.959; -13%).
In terms of market share, Daikin is the leader (14%), followed by Gree (12%), Toshiba Carrier (8%), Midea (8%) and Mitsubishi Electric (6%).
Regarding Europe, the penetration of air conditioning in dwellings is the following: Spain (47%), Russia (36%), Italy (31%), Turkey (41%), France (10%), United Kingdom and Germany (under 5%).
