The year 2023 is ending on a high note for the refrigeration sector. At the Conference of the Parties on Climate Change in Dubai, a global call was made for action to promote the sustainable development of refrigeration, which is both essential for human health and a major source of greenhouse gas emissions.
Each country must draw up a national cooling plan.
Many actions will be launched in 2024, and the IIR will be playing its full part. I hope that you too will play your part in ensuring a sustainable future for our planet and humanity. Best wishes for 2024.
