IIR at Chillventa 2024: a crossroads of innovation and collaboration for sustainable refrigeration

The IIR exhibited at Chillventa 2024 from 8 to 10 October, sharing a stand with its German partner DKV. With 1,010 international exhibitors from 49 countries and almost 33,000 visitors, this event reaffirmed its central role for professionals in the fields of HVAC, refrigeration and heat pumps.

The show was rich in exchanges and discoveries, punctuated by a series of conferences and demonstrations, and offered the IIR an ideal platform to promote its services as well as its numerous conferences and latest Informatory Notes, which were a big hit on the stand!

IIR's flagship EU-funded projects, SophiA, ENOUGH, AGRI-COOL and BETTED, were also in the spotlight and attracted a great deal of interest, giving rise to numerous discussions about IIR's initiatives and their positive impact on sustainability, particularly in developing countries.

Ina Colombo also had the opportunity to promote INWIC (International Network for Women in Cooling), a global initiative the IIR is partnering to promote the inclusion of women in the refrigeration and heat pump sector through mentoring, training and career development programmes.

Chillventa 2024 was an excellent forum for promoting innovation and sustainability, while strengthening the IIR's ties with key players in the refrigeration sector.
