IIR Director General, Didier Coulomb, to be a Keynote Speaker at the IOR Annual Conference 2021

Set to demonstrate how the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sectors are responding to the challenge of net zero heating and cooling, this year, the IOR Annual Conference will be held entirely online.

Didier Coulomb, Director General of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) has been announced as one the keynote speakers for the IOR Annual Conference which will take place from 21 to 22 April 2021.

 

The presentation will examine the various aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals adapted to the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump sectors while including an overview of the IIR's research on the carbon impact of the food cold chain.  

 

Taking place from 21 to 22 April 2021, the IOR Annual Conference will be held under the theme of  “The Journey to Net Zero Heating and Cooling - Beyond Refrigeration 2021” and will provide a varied programme featuring case studies that demonstrate how the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sectors are responding to the challenge of net zero heating and cooling. 

 

Attendees will have access to a comprehensive set of conference papers, live webinars of all presentations and question sessions with authors, recordings of all sessions for six months, keynotes giving overviews of policy and global initiatives, and coffee lounge discussions.

 

Fees start at £50 + tax per person with discounted fees available for students and for delegates from Article 5 countries under the Montreal Protocol and the 7 countries with economies in transition.
