IIR Member news: Nordic news

Leif Amdahl has been appointed Secretary General of the Norwegian Society of Heating, Air Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers (a corporate member of the IIR). The First Norwegian HVAC Education Award was presented to Johnny N. Holst for his work on "Optimizing energy consumption and indoor environment in buildings through use of simulation codes and optimizing procedures." The Award was recently established by the Foundation for Research at the Norwegian HVAC, Energy and Environmental Association and was presented during a seminar held at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
